MANILA, Philippines – Smart on Wednesday, September 18, issued a statement warning subscribers of intermittent service due to a power issue at one of their facilities.
“Our teams are working to restore services as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the inconvenience,” it said.
On monitoring site Downdetector, reports began to spike at around 6 pm, peaking at 7:46 pm with 3,401.
Majority reported “No signal” as the problem, making up 81% of all reports. Users also reported problems with mobile internet and texting. – Rappler.com
