The Philippines wraps up its campaign in the 2024 Paris Paralympics after a valiant effort from August 28 to September 8 (August 29 to September 9, Manila time), two weeks after the end of the country’s historic Summer Games run.

Following the exploits of double-gold gymnastics icon Carlos Yulo, the six-person Philippine Paralympic delegation prove that no obstacle is too big for a Filipino to conquer, able-bodied or otherwise.

Swimmer Angel Otom and javelin thrower Cendy Asusano, both Paralympic debutants, deliver impressive runs as wheelchair racer Jerrold Mangliwan, swimmer Ernie Gawilan, para archer Agustina Bantiloc, and taekwondo jin Allain Ganapin round out the Filipinos’ big-hearted athletes.
