MANILA, Philippines – Over 4,400 para athletes vie for sporting glory in the Paris Paralympics running from August 28 to September 8.
Gold, silver, and bronze medals go up for grabs in 549 events across 22 sports as the finest differently abled athletes from 169 nations take the spotlight.
The Philippines looks to add to its all-time medal haul that includes two bronzes, with six para athletes making up the country’s biggest Paralympic delegation in 12 years.
Powerhouse China, meanwhile, aims to stamp its class once again after topping the medal tally in the last five editions.
