Oasis was formed in 1991 in Manchester, debuting with the album Definitely Maybe. The band – best known for its chart-topping song “Wonderwall” – was originally composed of brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan, and Tony McCarroll. They split in 2009 following a rift between the Gallagher brothers.
The British ensemble’s other hit tracks include “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Stop Crying Your Heart Out,” and “Champagne Supernova.” – Rappler.com
