MANILA, Philippines – The old online banking website of Banco de Oro (BDO) will no longer be available by March 31 as it migrates to a new platform.

In an advisory, the Sy-led bank urged its users to try logging in using its new website (https://www.bdo.com.ph/personal/digital/bdo-online).

BDO earlier announced it was rolling out a new online banking website that will allow its customers to send money using other foreign currency accounts such as US dollars, euros, Japanese yen, Canadian dollars, among others.

The site also saves payees and billers so that customers no longer need to enroll their frequent billers.

“We’re not only giving them the functions and features they use regularly, but we’ve put them in a fresh-looking new site that is secure, convenient, and accessible whether they are here or abroad,” BDO’s first vice president and digital banking head Roy Villareal said. – Rappler.com
